Passing by the Heartfall design the Craftsman accents catch your eye. Dual front porches are framed by posts with stout stone bases and slender posts that lead your eye to the stunning beams that adorn the gable ends. The front door is protected by its own vaulted covered porch, creating a welcoming first impression to visiting family and friends.

Inside the foyer ceilings soar to 13’. The spacious entry includes a bult-in bench, making the transition from the outdoors to the inside comfortable. Just a few steps inward to access the coat closet and get your first glance at the richly windowed great room. Right off the entry hall the floor plan opens to the kitchen which offers plenty of counter space and boasts an island and step-in pantry. A transition from the 10’ ceilings help to visually separate the kitchen from the rest of the great room which features vaulted ceilings. A cozy fireplace can be enjoyed throughout the great room. Along the left wall of the great room a double sliding glass door opens to extend the space outside and onto the covered patio.

The great room is framed on three sides by outdoor living spaces – ideal for those who enjoy spending as much time outside as possible. Even the dining room features a sliding glass door that opens it to one of the two covered porches seen from the street. A beverage bar in the dining room makes entertaining a breeze.

The Heartfall’s three bedrooms fill the back of the home. The owners’ suite has a separate hallway from the two secondary bedrooms and boasts a large walk-in closet, private bathroom – complete with spa, walk-in shower, and dual vanities, along with direct access to the back patio. The secondary bedrooms are also well appointed and share jack-and-jill style access to a shared compartmentalized bathroom with twin sinks.

This house plan offers a basement foundation which allows the Heartfall to grow with the homeowners as the unfinished space can be used as storage or finished at a later date to provide a family room, hobby space, or whatever else suits.

It is easy to see why the Heartfall is one of Associated Designs most popular designs. Its open great room style living and comfortable three bedrooms are appealing features, plus the floor plan is designed to accommodate four-legged family members. An optional doggy door provides quick access from the backyard to the shelter of the garage. Just a few steps inside the home the utility room cabinets account for two dog beds under the countertop and provide cubbies and storage. Stairs just outside the utility room lead to the Heartfall’s unfinished bonus room which has the potential to be finished with an additional full bathroom and second beverage bar.
